What does living healthy manhood look like? Men are often told lies about what it means to “be a man.”
This series gives men a vision for manhood as modeled by Jesus in his 33 years on earth.
This men-only group includes men 18+, and you don’t have to attend our church to join this group.

“Fundamentals Of The Faith” – Jackie Bethards
This semester, Jackie leads thirteen lessons that blend basic biblical truths with personal obedience and service.
With topics ranging from the character of God to church participation, it’s an ideal study for discipling new believers or returning to the basics of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Sometimes, we just need to go back to the basics. Join Jackie this semester to learn the Fundamentals of the Faith!

“From One Widow to Another” – Rachelle Smith
“Widow” is one title women do not want. But according to the Surgeon General’s office, 800,000 people become widows or widowers yearly in the United States alone. And when this happens, every aspect of life changes—like it or not, ready or not.
These changes add to the emotional roller coaster that most women experience after losing their husbands. Miriam Neff understands the ride. As she struggled to understand and accept her new role after her husband’s death, she recognized the need for women to hear from others about their experiences and what helped them transition to this new stage of life.
Rachelle Smith facilitates this group this semester, pursuing the grieved hearts at New Life and our surrounding community, pointing everyone to the One who heals, Jesus.

“Life Lessons” – Teresa Pulley
Life Lessons, under the thoughtful guidance of Teresa Pulley, is an immersive experience designed to delve into the art of hospitality through a Biblical lens. The program unfolds in three enlightening 4-week segments, each focusing on a crucial aspect of cultivating hospitality and bringing life to our words and actions.
Segments:
Cultivating Hospitality: Learn the foundations of creating a “Welcoming Church” inspired by Biblical teachings.
Comforting Others with Words: Exploring what to say when we are at a “Loss for Words.” Gain insights into the art of comforting others by understanding when and how to speak, guided by the wisdom of scripture.
Life-Bringing Actions: “Motor Mouth Control” is a skill all can employ when we look at scripture and see the problems our mouths can cause. Explore the scriptures to discover how our actions, rooted in Christ, can be life-bringing for ourselves and those around us.

“One Thing” – Viki Rainwater
This is an ongoing Life Group for those who want to understand more fully the grace and overcoming power of God in their life.
This Group will be ongoing and open to anyone and everyone.
We will begin with an introduction to 1 Peter on March 6. There is an abundance of hopeful grace found within the verses of this book to set you free. You are a victorious overcomer, and God’s grace is our fuel to empower our hearts to soar!

“Art Class” – Susi Williams
Have you ever wanted to be creative but just do not know how? Come to this Arts and Crafts class hosted by Susi Williams. With Susi’s passion and creativity you’ll learn how to bring out the creative side God place in you!
Each art project will take 1-2 sessions (Wednesdays), and material cost per project will be approximately $5.
