Welcome to the New New Life Women's Ministry
We, the women of New Life Community Church, are ready to boldly step out and take a role in equipping this body to fight against our enemy. We want to heal emotional wounds, teach the promises of God, help in times of crisis, and continually mentor new generations of leaders.
Our Purpose
The purpose of the New Life CC Women's Ministry is to equip women in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ; to fellowship and to encourage one another in the unconditional love of Christ; and to provide opportunities for service and ministry in the church and community proclaiming His love.
Encouragement
The Women's Ministry wants to provide encouragement through a variety of fellowship opportunities and celebrations throughout the year. These include:
- Spring Coffee & Tea
- Holiday Dinner
- Valentine's Day Celebration
- Mother and Father's Day Recognition
- Day Trips
- Greeting Card Mailing for Special Occasions
- Meals for New Moms, Funerals, and Illnesses
- Encouraging Phone Calls and Visists
- ME Time
- Prayer Team
Discipleship
The Women's Ministry wants to provide discipleship training througout the year with:
- Bible Studies
- Conferences
- Woman to Woman Mentoring
- Woman to Youth Mentoring
Equipping
The Women's Ministry wants to equip the women of New Life to deal with emotional wounds and handle life's changes and struggles, as well as help them identify their strengths and how to use those to serve God in this congregation and within our community. Opportunites for equipping include:
- Support and Healing Groups for difficult times such as abuse, divorce, and becoming a widow
- Support/Teaching Groups for improving our family lives including premarital counseling, marital counseling, and parenting help
- Assistance in exploring, preparing, and launching new ministries
Getting Involved
There is no way that one small group will be able to encourage, disciple, and equip this entire congregation of women. So, we need you! If there is any area listed here that you would like to be a part of, please contact the church office or pick up a Getting Involved form from the welcome center. We need people to fill every kind of role from being a prayer warrior, to facilitating meal deliveries, researching and starting support groups to leading Bible studies. God and this ministry have a place for you. Please join us - we can help you find where you fit in.
